In reply to DaveM’s post on May 25, Hi Fran, Yes, you can create the bootable USB on any Windows device, it will then work on any other Windows 10 device, be sure to uncheck to option yo ‘Use preferred settings for this PC’ when running the tool, so you can choose 32bit, 64bit or both. When formatting what do I use? Hi Fran, yes, certainly, there is plenty of space on that USB. Work through each of the recovery options available there.

If none of the options work for you, select Command Prompt. Run these commands one at a time and press Enter after each command. Just wanted to say thank you for the answers and your time. Hi Fran, glad to help! Insert the USB drive into your computer. Make sure the Back up system files to the recovery drive box is checked and select Next. Select your USB drive, then select Next.
